The Story Behind the Journal
This journal was born in a battle-filled season of stepping out in obedience to God's call. Day in and day out, the battles were fierce. I had no choice but to sit at His feet, seeking Him for strength, patience, grace, and leading.
It was during this season that I heard our pastor say, "Today's invitation is to begin examining our lives, noticing what God is doing in the present that will give us the strength to walk through anything. May we be the kind of people who have our eyes open to the miracles happening not just to us but around us—miracles that might sustain us and encourage us in our journey."
Right there, in those words, the Holy Spirit nudged me into action: Start looking for Me. Start seeing My daily miracles.
So that's what I did. No matter how hard the day was, I became expectant to see God working. And guess what? I did. Once I started focusing on His daily presence—His miracles—everything changed. The challenges didn't leave, but my reaction and ability to sustain those challenges transformed completely. For the first time in a long time, I found joy. I found calm. I found peace, despite the storm raging around me.
Collecting Miracles was the oil that emerged.
